Competition & Antitrust

Competition law shapes how businesses grow, transact and compete in India. Clavius advises businesses, investors and boards under the Competition Act, 2002 on the three areas the Act regulates: anti-competitive agreements, including cartels; abuse of dominant position; and combinations, that is, acquisitions, mergers and amalgamations.

We represent clients in proceedings, investigations and appeals under the Act, including matters where an agreement, conduct or combination outside India has, or is likely to have, an appreciable adverse effect on competition in the relevant market in India. Our work spans transaction planning, inquiries and investigations, compliance, contentious proceedings and advice where competition law meets corporate, regulatory or disputes matters.
